In summer, the Mittenwald via ferrata already attracts numerous hikers and nature lovers from all over the world. But in winter, this popular trail transforms into a breathtaking winter landscape. The backdrop of the snow-covered mountains and the panorama of the surrounding peaks exert a special fascination on mountain hikers.
We start our tour from the western Karwendelspitze, which we reach comfortably with the help of the Karwendel cable car.
From there we reach the start of the via ferrata on the northern Linderspitze. The route offers varied sections with climbing and walking passages as we reach the junction of the Heinrich Noe trail. After a short break at the southern Linderspitze, we continue our tour, cross the Sulzleklammspitze and finally reach the Kirchlspitzen. The destination of the via ferrata is the Brunnsteinanger, from where we descend to the Brunnsteinhütte.
