Zugspitze via the Höllental
The ascent to the Zugspitze via the Höllental is considered one of the most varied and impressive routes in the Northern Limestone Alps. It is also the first official via ferrata in Germany!
With good physical condition, the tour can be done in one day, completing an ascent of about 2,200 metres in altitude. This corresponds to a walking time of 8 to 9 hours. If you would like to make the tour a little more comfortable, I recommend spending the night at the Höllentalangerhütte. It is possible to ascend to the Höllentalangerhütte independently within about 2 hours the day before and spend the night there. I will also come up to the hut in the evening and we will discuss the rest of the tour over a beer. Safety equipment can be hired the day before.

- Requirements:
- The walking time is between 6 and 10 hours, depending on whether you start from the valley or the hut. Moderately difficult via ferrata with short glacier crossing.
- Price:
- The costs for individual tours start at 550 euros. The price for groups depends on the number of participants. As an example, the price for 4 or more participants is 169 euros per participant.
- Additional expenses:
- The costs for the cable car ride, the entrance to the gorge, possibly overnight costs in a hut as well as other expenses of the participants.
